If you have a scroll through my Instagram feed, you’ll see that I completely adore flowers and they have very much shaped the Style Smorgasbord brand in the last couple of months. Today I would like to introduce you to The Fresh Flower Project – a Sydney based florist that whips up the most whimsical bouquets wrapped up in recycled hessian coffee sacks donated by Toby’s Estate. They also do the sweetest little garden boxes that would be the perfect hostess gift! Featured here is the ‘Field of Dreams‘ – a fresh bundle of Pink and White Snapdragons, White Chin Chin, Peach Ranunculus, Yellow Dancing Lady Orchid, Orange Pin Cushions, White Sweet William, Leather Fern, Magnolia and Viburnum.
The bouquets vary weekly as they handpick the freshest stems so whatever you get will always be vibrantly in season! It also means minimising wastage – you can see all their previous arrangements on their Instagram here. The Fresh Flower Project also donates $1 from every harvest box purchased to ‘Youth Off the Streets’ – a non denominational organisation that I actually did numerous case studies on back in my Year 12 Legal Studies – a wonderful group doing lots of good work.
