Hats Off // to Spring

Although hats can feel ‘extra’*, a hat should really be an essential. And when there are so many cute sun protective options out there, why would you stick to being basic? Today I am rounding up my favourite three type of hats for spring; the cap in unexpected fabrics like seersucker, gingham and velvet, the newsboy cap and the statement straw hat.

On a completely different note, I tried to use the above photo on an angle as my featured image and it made my skin crawl. I think you can tell a lot about a person by the way they crop their photos. And me? Definitely Type A lol. Hope you have a great Monday! I am determined that this will be a go go go week because last week was just soo slow and soo unproductive – I blame long weekends. Love ’em but they get me out of whack!

*For the non-millenial set, extra is defined in the Urban Dictionary to mean //Β adjective; to behave in a way on occassion or consistantly in a way that is deemed unnecessary or inapropriate. As my friend commented on my pink foil 21st balloons, “they’re so extra and I love it.”
