Santa Barbara // Spring Evening Look

I have the day off uni today because we have a mid-sem exam on Sunday at 2pm when the weather is apparently going to be 32 degrees!!! Seriously perfect beach weather. Since I won’t be heading down to the sea to catch some rays, I have decided to compensate by working outside this afternoon. You should try it sometime, nothing like some sun and grassy carpet to get you going. Our sunroom is almost complete – we are just waiting for the doors now – and I can’t wait to show you what it looks like once furnished, its going to be great for summer entertaining.

Speaking of summer entertainment, this outfit is the perfect mix of laid-back-but-you-tried and exactly what I would wear to a spring BBQ in the early evening. Consisting of light, breathable fabrics like cotton and linen cut in tailored shapes like a button up and blazer so you look fancy without sacrificing comfort. I am also wearing my kick flares which are always fun but elevated with a pretty pair of espadrilles. These give me an extra 12 cm (woohoo) but are still vair walkable.
