As promised, here is the second look from my coat layering series this week. Denim jackets are such a vital jacket to have – look for a slightly cropped one with minimal distressing, I find this style to be the most versatile as opposed to the oversized, baggy versions. They are great for night outs when you need something that you can tie around your waist and they are equally excellent for dressing down an outfit. I particularly love the look of them layered over a striped boat tee and under a camel coat. This is such a classic look paired with black wayfarers and ballerinas and a small cross body layered between the jackets. Finalise with red lippy and you have a beautiful timeless outfit to go to. These boat tees from Uniqlo are such a closet staple, they are a 100% cotton and made very thick. They fit oversized so I would size down if you enjoy a more fitted look.
Wearing: Uniqlo striped boatneck (old season, new season colours here love the light blue and white stripe) / ASOS Denim Jacket (c/o –nlove this cute ruffled one) / Forcast coat (c/o – last seen here, similar here) / Cotton On white jeans (similar here and here) / J.Crew Kiki ballet flats (sold out, similar here) / 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli mini in navy / Rayban classic wayfarer sunglasses //
