Being a creative person working and studying in business, I am always interested in hearing from other business-savvy creative disrupters as well. When I first learnt of London-girl Charlotte Hollihan’s vision of dressing the ‘international woman’, I was super excited to see more of her eponymous brand – Charlotte London. Formerly working in finance, Charlotte decided to bring out her own line of beautiful jackets at a high-street price point. Ever since I discovered this cream jacket on the high street last year, I have been enamoured with the intricacies of tweed. Whether it be a beautifully cut coat, shift dress or the brightest summer skirt, if its tweed I want to make it mine. Naturally, when I first laid my eyes on Charlotte London’s jackets I was drooling a bit in the most unfashionable way! I settled on the baby blue colour and paired it with all my favourite feminine accents – a pussy bow, ring belt, sequinned bag and strappy but sensible metallic pumps. I can’t wait to wear it during down time as well with an all white outfit or some distressed denim to give it edge.
