The unseasonally warm weather we had this year really messed up our autumn foliage so the leaves have only just started changing colours. Worth the wait because look how beautiful this golden yellow is! Have you seen a happier colour? When it gets colder, we all tend to go for darker denim, berry lips and earth tone knits but there is hope for our summer clothes! I would traditionally classify the white denim and crochet top as summer staples but certain clothing and seasons don’t have to be mutually exclusive. It’s all in the transition pieces like this sleeveless pink roll neck sweater and grey wool hat. Practically, they add warmth to chilly mornings and aesthetically, they add traditional cold weather textures. Here’s to the first leaves of fall!
