Colour Suiting // Navy Chino Shorts

The idea of wearing a matching suit to work seems so foreign to me – I don’t have a single matching set whereas my mum had a ton! However, pairing a couple of similarly coloured pieces to make your outfit more monochromatic is definitely a modern-prep take for both work and play. Obviously these shorts wouldn’t work for most office environments so I would swap the chinos out for cropped navy pants. This frilly Victorian style button up gets weekend-ready by unbuttoning and peeking out of the bomber. Finally, a cross body satchel to store all your weekend pastries and magazines!

I love the whole monochromatic look. If it’s not shorts, I think it’ll definitely be office appropriate
