Nineteenth Sunday: Jumpstart

Jumpstart is not exactly the right word, I feel like I’m a month behind with everything these days! Thank goodness for weekends. Saturday is usually my chill day where I can fit in a RPM class, social events, run errands, go for a drive and shoot content for the coming weeks. Sunday, I like to try and get all my uni work out of the way in the morning before my classes on Thursday. What kind of weekender are you, do you like to pack in as much as possible or just hermit at home for two days?

Reading: The Hating Game by Sally Thorne – I’m still working my way through this but this is a deliciously fast paced, funny, witty read. The author is Australian which makes me think the book is set in an Australian city but upon reading a couple of book reviews, there’s no obvious giveaway of where it actually takes place, making it more universal albeit the Australian colloquialisms here and there. Did I just say Australian three times in one sentence? How A-nnoying.

Eating: Anason at Barangaroo. Not going to lie I was first attracted to this restaurant for its rattan chairs, tiled tables and navy exterior. I think this would be a great place for drinks and some light dinner. The portions are definitely on the smaller side but designed for sharing. The outdoor dining is going to be picturesque once the ferry construction is completed. Can’t wait to come back.

Buying: I had to return these sneakers because I have narrow feet but if you have wide feet, they would be such a great shoe to wear casually with white jeans for a relaxed weekend look. I also picked up the A/W 16 skirt version of this dress – J’adore how it looks with a black turtleneck and sparkly pumps. To see what else I’m coveting, visit the Smorga-shop.

Watching: TwiceBlessed weekly vlogs. I love seeing the behind the scenes of being a full time blogger. Whilst all the events seem ever so glam, I know in my heart that going to industry events night after night would not be for me.

Working Out: I really saw a noticeable improvement in my cardio this week! I think I could have even gone harder but I forgot to bring water to my Body Attack class. After a month, I have figured out the best schedule for me which is perfect timing because my one month free trial is coming to an end and there’s no going back now …

She’s illustrated for the likes of Chatswood Chase, A Moveable Feast and Lane Crawford so I was super stoked for her to draw me !!! And in one of  my favourite outfits (and poses) to date. Thanks girl for saving me to shoot a stock photo for this week’s Sunday Session 😉
