Community Garden // Neck Bandanas

Happy Monday lovely people! I feel like I’ve been super out of this blog for the past couple of weeks but revisiting these photographs has truly reenergised my drive to create wonderful content. Its also one of the reasons I try to keep ahead of my blog posts by at least two weeks – that way, regardless of whether or not I’m in a creative slump, there will always be content on the site. We took these photos last week at the community garden with my Sigma 17-50 mm 2.8 lens which I haven’t played around with too much since I got back from holidays. As much as I love the bokeh a 1.8 85mm lens can provide, the distance required can be limiting for on the go pics so when I took the Sigma out for a spin, I was pleasantly surprised with how good the pictures turned out post-crop!

The idea of a community garden is so adorable – everyone coming together to grow fresh produce that can go back to towards local cafes. For this weekend brunch outfit, I went with a simple chambray polka dot shirt and white jeans which I promptly dropped avocado on and had to photoshop off my jeans – the only reason I would use Photoshop, pinky swear on my life. I added my favourite accessories of the moment – my Swell bandana from Surfstitchround sunnies and nautical strap watch.
