Street Styling // Re-Style Your Most Feminine Dresses

I remember when I was younger, wearing dresses was a Big Deal and you only wore them on special occasions. Ah how times have changed, now dresses are my go-to item for just about every kind of weather and occasion. Too hot? Wear a loose fitting cotton dress with jelly sandals. Too cold? A knit sweater dress over suede boots. But what do you do when you’ve spent all this money on an occasion dress and you tuck it away in your wardrobe for a day deemed special enough? I say, don’t wait! Wear it now, wear it with a bustier,  ripped denim, your freshest kicks and all the usual accessories that make your aesthetic so, you. This is one of my favourite dresses, I’ve worn it on cruise dinners (see the high sea look here) and to the races so to be able to bring it out again this summer makes me throw my hands up in the air with joy.

Featuring: ASOS Denim Jacket (c/o, last seen here) / Zalora via The Iconic White Appliqué Dress (old, similar here & here) / Bardot Bustier (old, similar here) / Purse (gifted from a friend *HI SANDY* obsessed with this mini black bag ATM) / Rubi Shoes Poof Keychain (similar here) / Adidas Superstars (last worn here) / Oscar Wylee Sunglasses (last worn here) / Lovisa Earrings (last worn here) /

You do street style so well!! So smart to put the bustier over the dress. Love how you dressed the dress down with a denim jacket and sneakers yet still keeping it so chic!

That is a beautiful dress and I really like how you’ve dressed it down with the denim jacket and casual shoes 🙂 Great way to get more wear from a special occasion piece in your wardrobe.
