Stepping on the Runway // Plane Loungewear

As much as I enjoy admiring how people used to dress up for the airport because flying was such a luxury, I’m really glad matching tweed sets and pin rolled curls has been replaced by comfy loungewear. This blanket scarf was an absolute trooper of a piece for the plane. It was a welcome distraction to my bare face, unruly hair and questionable breath and was big enough to use as a blanket for my red eye flight. What’s your essential piece for flying? Next time, I’m going to bring an eye mask because I’ve realised I can’t sleep unless its completely pitch black and the flickering lights from people watching films and reading really affected by (usually) excellent ability to fall sleep anywhere. Also, I have to say I am super disappointed by these Mimco earrings, they broke after only a few months of wear. I usually go for cheap studs from Lovisa but I thought since I like to wear pearls every other day, I would spend a bit more but they fell out of their casing faster than my normal low end earrings.

Wearing: Petit Bateau T-Shirt (I really like this cheeky one as well – The Outnet is my go to for luxe basics) / Seed Pants (very similar design here) / Adidas Superstars / Oscar Wylee Glasses / Mimco Studs / Pandora ‘Princess Tiara’ Ring / RumbaTime Watch (c/o) / H&M Scarf (my go to for last minute purchases, I found this piece for $7 after stopping at numerous boutiques and not finding what I was after) / Hurley Backpack

I love that your travelwear is both functional and super cute! I always like to travel with a scarf because I get so cold and I can end up using it as a blanket lol.

Babe!! I love this! super comfy, casual and chic!!! I always find that with an eye mask too. I think im going to get the actual eye mask one where it will give you an eye treatment!! haha I saw some when i was in Singapore. Such a good idea. Wake up from your flight all bright eyed. I love packing sweat pants for the plane. I always change into sweatpants once i get on. This way I can just relax and sleep! Then when we r just about to land, i just get change under my blanket!! hahaha no bathroom needed! Just need to be discreet tho.
